Safe365 is excited to be launching Safe365 University - an informative, online eLearning portal that will provide engaging product training and certification. “Safe365 University is available to anyone, free of charge, who wants to gain a deeper understanding of how they can use all of the features in Safe365 to unlock maximum value for their business or, for our partner community, to maximise the outcomes for their clients” says Safe365 Head of Customer Success Elena Keegan.
Keegan says “this is an excellent chance to maximise your utilisation of Safe365 by using existing health & safety theory and implementing it via a practical tool. This course has something for everyone, it is ideal for new Safe365 users who require comprehensive training or experienced Safe365 clients to unlock even more value from the system. Safe365 University will give you the confidence to maximise the benefits of our system within your organisation.”
To become a Safe365 Certified Practitioner, users undertake approximately five hours of online learning comprised of videos, podcasts, written material and walk-through experiences on Safe365. The learning program takes a user through the origins of Safe365, its philosophies, all the key features, how to facilitate or complete a maturity assessment on the platform and some masterclasses for highly popular features such as the checklist tool on the Safe365 smartphone app. After working through the content modules and completing the end of program test, the user has a certificate generated on the platform which is loaded onto the user’s personal profile. “We appreciate that it’s difficult to attend scheduled training sessions, so Safe365 University is based entirely online where you can learn in your own time and at your own pace” says Keegan.
The Practitioner Certification will be the first certification with additional programmes due for release later this year. These include learning programmes to support users using Safe365 in multi-site/business unit implementations and using the Safe365 platform for managing contractors in the supply chain. Already a number of tertiary institutions are engaging with Safe365 about offering the Safe365 University program to their students to provide students with practical tools they can use to complement their academic course of study in the health & safety field as they enter the workforce.
Safe365 co-founder Nathan Hight says Safe365 University was born from many, many “ah-ha” moments from Safe365 customers who said '– that’s amazing, I didn’t know the product did that - wow!' “Safe365 has always had a customer-centric philosophy in how we develop and evolve our platform. We are there to serve our clients, to solve their problems and to support them and their workforce to undertake work as safely as possible. Safe365 University is another tangible example of this” says Hight.
Safe365 University is free and available to everyone – you do not need a paid subscription to further your education.
